Meet Terry! This is what she has to say:

I was introduced to Kim through an old co-worker of mine who saw amazing results with what she did with the ketogenic diet. I thought “what do I have to lose?” Well, apparently I had 40 pounds to lose, many inches, and counting…

I’ve struggled with my weight since the age of 23 when I had an office desk job I was miserable at and a wonky thyroid that killed my metabolism. I could never figure out what would work for me…no matter how many times I dieted or tried to lose weight, I would fall right back in to bad habits along side a pint of ice cream and a chocolate bar.

I had 3 babies, and while I am incredibly proud of what my body has done (birthed 3 children on top of over 3 years of breastfeeding), I wasn’t happy with the way I looked. With endless support from my husband, I decided to give keto a try on my own. I did it totally wrong. Fast forward a couple months and I decided to give it another shot, only this time with the advice from a certified coach. Within the first month, I lost over 10 pounds with no magic pills, no gimmicks, no special drinks…I only changed the way I ate. My success has fueled me to keep going and I’m not going to stop until I feel comfortable in my skin again.

I’ve learned so much from Kim. She gives you all the tools and encouragement one could need in a one month challenge. Only 50 dollars and I knew what I was doing, what I had to do, and what could be done. She never shames. She never makes you feel like you did something wrong. “Progress, not perfection”, I have often been told. And how true is that not only in weight loss, but in every day life?

I feel amazing. I have a ways to go yet, but with what I have lost in weight and inches, I have gained in self confidence, energy, and happiness. I keep going back for Kim’s challenges because not only does it keep me accountable, but the atmosphere is one that is positive, kind, and helpful.

If you’re struggling, I am proof that you can do it. You can change. You might need a little help, and that IS OKAY. That is where Kim comes in, helps you with questions, helps you with diet, and teaches you how to fuel your body with good food. I’ve never eaten so clean in my entire life. My husband has also had massive success with the keto diet. Kim will never take the credit, but man, she deserves at least some of it. I can’t say enough good things about her program, and I hope that you know that you can do it too! And Kim can help!!!

Meet Shelby! This is what she has to say:

I won’t lie, I did my first challenge in May 2019 with Kim because I saw my mom and sister drop pounds quickly the month before, and with summer on the horizon I was ready to give it a try. I wanted to be able to fit into my wedding dress by my 9th Anniversary in August. But, you know, I had totally neglected to take care of myself while raising our 6 year old twins and a 3 year old too so, that felt like a lofty idea. I’ve always been someone who cooked at home a lot, but calling us “carbivores” before I started would’ve been a pretty accurate description.

As you can see from the pictures, after just 3 months, I reached my goal with time to spare. I got the dress on in July, yay! So naturally, that’s when I should’ve quit the diet, right? Wrong. These pictures only show what I lost, and what I gained was so much more valuable.

Through Kim’s coaching and staying active month after month in her challenge groups, I have shifted from that “diet mindset” to a lifestyle that includes a ketogenic way of eating paired with intermittent fasting. By fueling my body with real food I’ve gained energy and dropped the cravings for junk and carb crashes that always followed. I’ve learned I am mentally stronger than I gave myself credit for, and the next step will be getting physically stronger. I have a healthy relationship with food now and am proud of the example I’m setting for my kids. They’re eating more nutrient dense foods than ever before! My insecurities over my body are all but gone, my skin has never been better, I no longer struggle with digestion, bloat isn’t a problem anymore, even my cycles are easier each month. Kim refuses to take any credit, but the encouragement, accountability and atmosphere she creates at least helped to totally change my life. For that, I’ll be grateful always. Keto isn’t just about lessening your gravitational pull, it’s about taking control of your wellness and Kim can help you do it if you’re ready. Oh, and PS, the food we get to eat is amazing!

Meet Kelly! This is what she has to say:

My trip to wellness began in July of 2018, hours after learning my dad had suffered from a heart attack.

At that time, I weighed in at 290 pounds, was at an all time high diabetic A1C score of 7.4, and was generally speaking, quite lazy about my personal appearance.

Over the next 6 months, I tried and tried to lose weight on my own, with the very non-scientific ways I had heard growing up my whole life: lots of salads and calorie restrictions, and as much caloric output through physical activity as possible. In those 6 months, I managed to lose about 20 pounds. While something was better than nothing, and I was proud of that progress, I was eating food I didn’t enjoy, falling deep into binges, and was overall exhausted more often than not.

In the early spring of 2019, my client Kim showed up for her regularly scheduled hair appointment in my salon. We had chatted briefly about the ketogenic lifestyle, as I had heard her mention it briefly in passing and on social media before. In March of 2019, I had a quarterly blood read and follow up with my doctor regarding the status of my Type 2 Diabetes. I asked what he knew of the ketogenic way of eating, and he had nothing but positive things to say about the lifestyle.

With his confidence, I went home from the appointment and contacted Kim. She set me up with information for her up and coming 4 Week Challenge group, and I figured $50 was a comfortable investment into learning something completely new that could better myself.

In that group, I met keto-ers new and old, and learned a wealth of knowledge. She introduced us to Senza and her pre-loaded recipes and meal plans, and I got to meal prepping. I think I lost 20 pounds in my first month! Family and friends starting noticing my progress, and wanted in on the fun, so I’ve been an active member in her groups ever since.

Now, 9 months in, I’m actively living and eating a lifestyle that reflects the ketogenic ways. My diabetes is well controlled with an A1C of 5.4, cravings for junk food are gone, I intermittent fast unintentionally even some times, and I now have the regular energy to be a regular gym-goer. While I’ve maintained my weight loss at 70 pounds the last few months, I’ve begun gaining muscle mass and tone.

As time goes on, I hope I can keep my momentum strong. I set out with goal weights; some of which I’ve hit, and some are on the horizon... but I’ve learned to love and appreciate the way my body responds positively to the way I’ve been treating it.

I’m so thankful to have found a sustainable way to live a healthy, active life, and I hope to continue to press on and encourage others to do the same for themselves.
